A Story Worth Celebrating...

Henry Lee came to Denver in the 1860's.  Like so many westward pioneers, he had very little with him.  In the true American spirit, Henry Lee made his own success through sheer determination and hard work.  He developed the Pioneer Seed Company and was elected to both the House of Representatives and the Senate of the State Legislature.  He later became the father of the Denver Parks system, developing some of Denver's most beautiful public places, including City Park and Sloan's Lake.  That hard work and imagination was also put to use building his home in the historic Potter-Highlands neighborhood of Denver in 1894.  That home still stands today, and we want to share it with you.
